Bangladesh team has reached India for its tour. Where a series of two test matches and a series of three T20 matches is proposed to be played between Bangladesh vs India. This tour of Bangladesh is from 19 September to 12 October.

And the first test match between Bangladesh vs India is also to be played on 19 September at MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai). Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto told that his Bangladesh team has recently returned after playing a two test match series against Pakistan at the beginning of this month and due to the excellent performance of all the players of Bangladesh, it has won the series by defeating a big team like Pakistan in both the test matches.

And captain Najmul Hossain Shanto said that now his team is full of confidence in its first test Bangladesh vs India match in Chennai. After a series of two test matches against India, Bangladesh will also play a series of three T20 matches Bangladesh vs India series.

 Before Bangladesh vs India match Series In a press conference meeting in Dhaka (Bangladesh), Najmul Hossain Shanto said that this Bangladesh vs India series will be a challenging series. In which Saud Shakeel scored 141 runs in 261 balls and Mohammad Rizwan scored 77 runs in 239 balls. The rest of the batsmen could not make a significant contribution for their team. Then Pakistan’s team declared the innings and gave Bangladesh the opportunity to bat. In which Bangladesh’s team was all out after scoring a total of 565 runs.

 In which Shadman Islam scored 93 runs in 183 balls, Mominul Haque scored 50 runs in 76 balls, Litton Das scored 56 runs in 78 balls and Mehndi Hasan Miraz scored 77 runs in 179 balls. While Mushfiqur Rahim displayed his brilliant batting and scored 191 runs in 341 balls.

Then again Pakistan team came out for batting. But without showing any special performance, the whole team was all out for 146 runs. And Bangladesh team won the first match by 10 wickets without losing any wicket in their second innings. And Mehndi Hasan Miraz took the maximum of five wickets from Bangladesh’s side and Mushfiqur Rahim was given the “Man of the Match” for his brilliant inning of 191 runs.

Statistics of Bangladesh’s second test match against Pakistan

In the second Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan, Bangladesh team won the toss and again gave Pakistan a chance to bat. And Pakistan’s team, batting first, was all out after making 274 runs. In which Saim Ayub scored 58 runs in 110 balls, Shan Masood scored 57 runs in 69 balls, Babar Azam scored 31 runs in 77 balls.

And wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan scored 29 runs in 63 balls and Agha Salman played a fighting innings of 54 runs in 95 balls. And the Bangladeshi bowlers did not let the Pakistani batsmen stay on the field for long. In this one innings alone, Bangladeshi bowler Taskin Ahmed took three wickets and Mehndi Hasan Miraz took five important wickets for their team.

 And then the Bangladesh team which came to bat could not perform like their first match against Pakistan. And could only score 262 runs after losing their 10 wickets. In which, in the beginning, it was understandable that the Bangladeshi team was completely collapsing. Because 6 wickets of the Bangladesh team fell at a score of only 26 runs.

But then both Bangladeshi wicketkeeper batsman Litton Das and Mehndi Hasan Miraz were successful in taking the team to a score of 262 runs on their own. In which Litton Das performed brilliantly for his team by scoring 138 runs in 228 balls and Mehndi Hasan Miraz scored 78 runs in 124 balls.

Then again the Pakistan team came out to bat but could not perform anything special this time too. And the whole team was all out on 172 runs. And this time from the Pakistan team only Mohammad Rizwan scored 43 runs in 73 balls and Agha Salman scored 47 runs in 71 balls.

Rest of the players could not perform anything special. And then again the Bangladesh team came out to bat and scored 185 runs by losing only four wickets and won the series 2-0. And in this second innings of Bangladesh, Jakir Hasan scored 40 runs in 39 balls, Shadman Islam scored 24 runs in 51 balls, Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 38 runs in 82 balls, and Mominul Haque got out after scoring 34 runs in 71 balls.

And then Mushfiqur Rahim scored 22 runs in 51 balls and Sakib Al Hasan scored 21 runs in 43 balls and won the match.  And Litton Das was named “Man of the Match” for the second Test match. While Mehandi Hasan Miraz got “Man of the Series”.

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto has some assessments about the first Bangladesh vs India Test Series

Bangladesh captain Shanto knows that Bangladesh’s fast bowlers are not as experienced as India’s fast bowlers. But the recent success will keep them in a positive frame of mind. And captain Shanto also thinks that Bangladesh’s spinners Shakib Al Hasan, Taijul Islam and Mehndi Hasan Miraz are very close to India.

Captain Shanto said that at present the condition of both our spin and fast bowling is very good and aggressive. But perhaps our fast bowlers are behind Indian fast bowlers in terms of experience. But our spin bowling is almost similar to them. And our spin bowlers can bowl in any situation in this 1st test Bangladesh vs India series.

All I will say is that our fast bowlers, spinners and batsmen will all give their best. I think we can make a difference only when we play as a team. So the whole team has to play together. Bangladesh batsmen have also given time to their batting and have improved. Their performance has been normal in the last 12 months.
