Australia is on its tour of England from 11 September to 19 September. Where a series of three T20 matches and a series of 5 ODI matches were to be played between these two teams. Out of which the series of three T20 matches has been completed. In which both the teams have equalized the series by winning one match each. Because the third and decisive T20 match was cancelled due to rain.

After that a series of 5 ODI matches was to be played between these two teams. And Australia won by 68 runs in their 2nd ODI Australia vs England match. Now Australia has taken a 2-0 lead in the series by winning both the matches played.

The second ODI match between these two teams was played on Saturday 21 September. Which was played at Headingley (Leeds). In which England won the toss and decided to bowl. And gave Australia a chance to bat first. And Australia, batting first, was all out after scoring 270 runs in 44.4 overs.  But England’s team was able to score only 202 runs while chasing 270 runs. And was all out in 40.2 overs. And Australia won by 68 runs its 2nd ODI Australia vs England match and took a 2-0 lead in the series.

In this 2nd ODI Australia vs England match, England won the toss and gave Australia a chance to bat first. And young batsmen Mathew Short and Travis Head came on the field as openers from the Australian team. And giving a good start to the team, they scored 42 runs in 8 overs without losing a single wicket.

But on the last ball of the 9th over of the team, Travis Head was caught by Olly Stone. And England’s young bowler Brydon Carse took the first wicket of his team in the form of Travis Head.
