England have appointed young batsman Captain Harry Brook as the acting captain for the ODI series against Australia after Josh Butler’s injury. Josh Butler could not be a part of the England team in the recent three T20 matches against Australia due to an injury in his right calf. And after the three T20 match series, Butler will not be seen in the England team in the 5 ODI match series as well due to his calf injury.

And Captain Harry Brook has taken over as the acting captain in his place. This is the first time that Captain Harry Brook has got an opportunity to captain the England team in any format. However, 25 year old young player Captain Harry Brook has previously led Yorkshire in the t20 Blast and Northern Super Chargers in The Hundred as captain.

25 year old Captain Harry Brook has played only 15 one-day matches so far. But England consider him their future captain. And when the squad was announced, Captain Harry Brook had booked the Yorkshire player to play in place of Josh Butler. Captain Harry Brook’s appointment means England have a new captain in every international format this summer.

Recently Olly Pope took over the captaincy of the Test team from Ben Stokes. Because Ben Stokes was ruled out of the three-match series against Sri Lanka due to a hamstring injury. And Phil Short took over the T20 role in place of Josh Butler for that series.

Information has been received through the news that England has made another change in bowling in their team with Caption Harry Brook. Team England has ruled out their young and fast bowler Josh Hull due to quad injury. Who recently made his debut in the third Test match against Sri Lanka. And impressed everyone by taking three wickets in his very first innings.

All-rounder Liam Livingston has returned to the England team in place of Josh Butler. Who has been seen performing brilliantly in the ongoing T20 series. While initially Liam Livingston was not selected in the team for the ODI series but Captain Harry Brook command as a acting captain in place of Jos Butler.

It can be guessed from the England team’s fixed team that along with Caption Harry Brook, Phil Short, who was the captain of the recent T20 series played by England team, can also be seen as England’s opener. And England team has also given place to young batsman Jordan Cox and Will Jacks with Caption Harry Brook in the ODI series.

Whereas in the recent T20 series against Australia, both the players (Will Jacks and Jordan Cox) have not shown any special performance for their team. If we talk about young batsman Jacob Bethell who has got a place in the ODI series against Australia.  So, he performed brilliantly in his second T20 match against Australia and while supporting Liam Livingston, he led his team to victory by scoring 44 runs in just 24 balls.

England has included 6 new young players in its team for this ODI series. Captain Harry Brook himself and along with him young batsman Ben Ducket and young batsman Mathew Potts will be seen playing their first international match with Caption Harry Brook. And young bowlers Jamie Smith and it will also be seen from the England camp.

Liam Livingston has played an important and influential role as a number four batsman for his team in the recent T20 Internationals. And after the injury of bowler Josh Hull, he expressed his desire to make a strong comeback in the team.

Liam Livingston has said about his return to his first ODI match on 12 September, I don’t know but it is one of my challenges. So I am happy. That I have got a chance to bat in the upper order. I think, I have shown in a few weeks or maybe a month, that the longer I get a chance to bat in the game. The more chance I will have to impress everyone with my game and new Captain Harry Brook also.

 Liam Livingston said that his goal is just to maintain consistency in the new T20 International batting role for his England team. I want to play as much cricket as possible for England. But still it is not something I would give up. Unfortunately I did not make it to the ODI series. The last few years have been difficult for me. Maybe my body has disappointed me a bit. And maybe I am not physically well. There are some minor problems here and there.

The three-match T20 series against Australia was tied 1-1 after the final match was rained off. The ODI series will then begin on Thursday, 19 September at Trent Bridge (Nottingham). Josh Butler has not been able to play any matches since the T20 World Cup semi-final against India at the end of July.

But he is expected to aim to return to the team for the Caribbean tour in November. Captain Harry Brook, who captained England in the Under 19 World Cup in 2018, was Olly Pope’s deputy in the recent Test series against Sri Lanka, where Ben Stokes was absent.

The Australian team is on a tour to England. Where a series of three T20 matches and a series of 5 ODI matches were to be played between Australia and England. While the series of three T20 matches is now over. In which Australia won the first match by 28 runs. Whereas if we talk about the second T20 match, then the England team won by three wickets. And the series was tied at 1-1.

But the third and decisive match between Australia and England was to be held at Emirates Old Trafford Ground in Manchester. But this match was cancelled due to rain. And the T20 series remained tied at 1-1. But now the first ODI match will be played between Australia and England from September 19.

Which will be played at Trent Bridge Ground in Nottingham. Butler’s recovery has been hampered due to not participating in The Hundred. And he has also been ruled out of facing the Australian team.
